2014 Short Fiction Reading Challenge
Short stories, novelettes, novellas--many of the most brilliant and innovative SFF works fall into one of these short fiction categories, yet they often seem to be overshadowed by full-length novels. The 2014 Short Fiction Reading Challenge focuses on the exciting range of shorter works available to SFF readers. Anthologies, single-author short story collections, standalone novellas (e.g. The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde), and standalone novelettes (e.g. The Merchant and the Alchemist's Gate) are all eligible for this challenge. Rereads of anthologies and collections--though not standalone novellas or novelettes--are welcome.
