2014 I Just HAVE to Read More of That Author Challenge
Did you discover an author in a past challenge, by reading award winners, or even just a recommendation from a friend and say to yourself, "I just HAVE to read more of that author"? Have you never gotten around to them because your reading list is already too long and new authors, titles, and challenges keep jumping to the top of the list? Well here's the chance to take the time to finally read more of those authors.
The Challenge: Read 12 books and write 6 reviews of authors who you've always wanted to read more of, but have not gotten around to.
The Possibilities: You can read 12 books by one author. You can read all the books in a series or from the same universe. You can read one or a couple of books by different authors.
The History: I've nearly completed my personal challenge of reading all the Hugo winners and I've found authors I just HAVE to read more of. I've even bought some of their books, but they're just collecting dust on the shelf. This challenge gives me the opportunity to finally read more of these authors. It also lets me include the last 4 Hugo winners I have left to read, which are all the second or third books by multiple Hugo winning authors.
The Invitation: So join me in this challenge. My hope is that it offers the opportunity to delve deeper into the body of work of some wonderful authors you've discovered in your journeys with WWEnd.
