Large books are sometimes daunting in appearance but offer great depth in storytelling. Sometimes it just takes a while to get a story out there. I want to try to read more books over 800 pages.

Hi Acknud,I must confess long books totally intimidate me. Which is ridiculous when I can read two or three 350 page books in a fortnight. Why should one 800 page book look as if it will take a month?
Enjoy!

Great idea for a challenge! I have several that I want to complete this year, so this will help remind me of my goal. Thanks!

Love the Keith Haring banner. Saw a documentary on him and it was wonderful and heartbreaking.

I hope to read two big tomes this year.
