Location: UK		Just wondering what the actual requirements are for having a book added to the database?

I was under the impression it had to have been nominated for an award or including on a best of list. And then the authors other work could be added too.

However there are few books on here whose authors have never been nominated or best of listed? Jo Anderton for example has two books that have neither.

So was just wondering what the process was or if any SF work can be added

Well, when it was just me adding the books those were the "rules" though not hard and fast.  It was an attempt to keep things manageable and build a good solid base.  When we started the WoGF last year we opened up to adding new women authors by request and now we're just adding any traditionally published authors that are missing from the site.

We're still going to focus on the awards and lists because they're great for finding books and with the Uber User help we're getting we'll be adding a ton more to the site.
