Random quote: And you and I have good enough minds to know how very limited and finite they really are. The naked intellect is an extraordinarily inaccurate instrument. - Madeleine L'Engle (A Wind in the Door) - (Added by: gallyangel) |

There are a bunch of them listed at the ISFDB: http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/adv_search_results.cgi?START=0&TYP... Thank you. I looked into this series and it is categorized as Romantic Suspense and even won a few awards from the Romance Writers of America. I see that it takes place in a future New York but I don't think that's enough to make it sci-fi. Further, the pseudonym J.D. Robb was created to be Roberts' outlet for romantic suspense books. I'm going to pass on entering these.

Admin Posts: 4005 Location: Dallas, Texas | Hneite - 2021-11-26 2:20 AM Hi could you add: C. J. Cherryh https://worldswithoutend.com/author.asp?ID=30 The Betrayal The Rebirth The Vindication http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/pl.cgi?8538 http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/pl.cgi?8539... http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/pl.cgi?8540 Thanks When I went to look up these books I found that they are 3 parts of the book Cyteen that were split up into three books against the author's wishes -- from ISFDB: This is the first section of the novel Cyteen, which was split into three sections for this paperback reprint about which Cherryh has written, "There was a paperbound publication that split the novel into three parts, but this has ended: the current and, by my wishes, all future publications, will have Cyteen as one unified book." As a one-off variation I don't see much use adding them to the DB so I'm going to skip these.
