Random quote: "The frailty of everything revealed at last. Old and troubling issues resolved into nothingness and night. The last instance of a thing takes the class with it. Turns out the light and is gone. Look around you. Ever is a long time. But the boy knew what he knew. That ever is no time at all." - Cormac McCarthy (The Road) - (Added by: Emil) |

![]() Elite Veteran Posts: 1050 ![]() Location: UK | Not been around for ages, partly because of taking care of Mr Dusty, who ended up in hospital with fluid around the heart early part of the month, and then recuperating. Then there was a major power outage, four whole electric circuits were over charged,we lost all sorts of stuff, including wi- fi,so no TV,tablet, microwave etc. Lots of fun (not) sorting it our,but I had been using my laptop when it happened, and all the circuits had blown up. Finally got a new laptop,so I;m back lol. Only managed a handful of books last month, and not expecting much of this month. Do want to readthe final book on the Winston juvenile list, and FINALLY read Aldiss Non Stop, but the rest will be rereads or light fluff, since my old brain is mostly engaged with doctors appointments, medicatio schedules for both me and Mr Dustyetc. . I;m lucky to add 4 books a month now,but most are comfort reads.soare enjoyable Dusty;s TBR for May Brian Aldiss - Non Stop C S Lewis - The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Lester Del Rey - The Year After Tomorrow Poul Anderson - The Snows of Ganymede | ||
