Biography
Asa Nonami, born 19 August 1960, is a Japanese crime fiction and horror writer. She is a member of the Mystery Writers of Japan.
She is the award-winning author of The Hunter (published by Kodansha International). She is the first recipient of the Japanese Mystery and Suspense Award and has won the Naoki Prize (Japanese equivalent of The National Book Award). She has now joined a long and distinguished list of translated Japanese masters of popular fiction.
