Most Should Enjoy

Two thirds of this book I found engaging. Time travel stories are wrought with logical traps and dead ends, all of which are neatly navigated. The set-up of the plot driver, that "sense of wonder" conceit, was fun, and the character development much better than usual in SF. The societal and political observations along the way were intelligent, plainly the work of an educated and thoughtful person.

Once all the pieces were at length established and the resultant story begun, my interest waned.

If you're a time travel afficionado, certainly this ought to be on your list.
