Second part of the closing trilogy and that means off course that not much headway is made towards tying up all loose ends. Terry Goodkinds writing still suffers greatly under the weight of all the repetitions. I really see no reason to read 10+ that someone is extremely beautiful and has piercing blue eyes. Yes, I already know that... In this book he also tries to explain the workings of the magic in the world, he does so by spewing a lot of nonsensical difficult words. It just doesn't work. In this book Richard also comes up with the plan to finally do something about the supply trains, is there really no-one in the entire empire who could have thought of that a lot sooner? At this point I'm only reading further to finally get to the end of this series (hopefully it is a worthy end, but I'm beginning to have some doubts).
