Very good after slow start.

It took me a while to warm up to this book: Who are these people, what are all these political parties, why is Information capitalized, why should I care.

However, it got better. Once I found my way around this version of Earth, the story became much more interesting and turned into a fascinating study of how global democracy might work in the information age.

(By the way, there is remarkably little violence in this book. This is not your average political thriller!)

And I did start to care about the characters and wish that some issues had been explored more thoroughly. The ending felt a bit abrupt - but a sequel has already been announced.

Requires interest in global democracy, then highly recommended.
