Radiance

This is a sometimes glorious, sometimes chaotic, and always odd and wildly creative gambol through a solar system as it might have been imagined during the silent film era, where colonialism had gone outwards and sound never took off. It's a wild jigsaw puzzle of a novel, and was more mentally demanding of me than I was willing to give at the time, but I can see how many people would have a lot of fun with this outrageousness.
