No matter how much I tried I couldn't get into this one. Everything was there. Competent writing, interesting premise, a crime, court intrigue... This should have been the best book I'd read this year, but it wasn't. It felt flat, stale. Maybe it's me, bad timing can ruin a book for me. Anyways. I hope others manage to enjoy this worthy effort of a book.
