Jane and Vincent visit Venice. They get attacked by pirates, and have all their money stolen. They are left penniless and having to find a way to support themselves.
Jane is nothing if not resourceful, and before long they are involved in a heist to get back what was taken from them.
I love Mary Robinette Kowal's world, and enjoyed spending more time with Jane and Vincent in this excellent continuation of the Glamourist series.
