A good story, drowned in its own verbiage.

I almost abandoned this book soon after starting it. It is just chock-a-block with fictional physics and technology. I hung in there, and finally it gets rolling about halfway through. If you can make it through to Harrington's encounter with Hauptman, it's pretty good after that. There is a good space opera here, if you can dig through the "Yadda, yadda, yadda."
