Worth reading, but takes some patience.

Positives: Like Leiber's other works the focus is on the characters, then their interactions, then the story, then you finally figure out the world which produces these. It is very creative.

Negatives: It can be a little daunting to have a lot of open questions through the character focus and plot development.

Conclusion: worth the insights into human response to crisis and catastrophe.
