This is a book I wasn't actually expecting to read for the WoGF challenge but I managed to pick it up in a charity shop and thought "why not?".

This falls very squarely into the set of books that I call "fluff": the sort of book that takes a day, maybe two to read. There are no difficult words or long sentences (or even long paragraphs for that matter). There's one character who's in all the scenes with a simple linear plot. It's the sort of book that you can read at one sitting or pick up and put down regularly. There are no cliffhangers, no convoluted plots to remember, no jumps from scene to scene or character to character so it's very easy to pick up where you left off. You don't even need to remember who's where because the characters don't move very far afield.

I'd say it deserves it's current 3* rating - it's average and as long as you're not expecting "deep and meaningful" you'll enjoy it.
