The Monstrumologist

This was definitely out of my comfort zone. Most characters were unlikable (not an important female character around during the entire book) and there were more than enough detailed gruesome descriptions. (If you have a weak stomach don't read this.)
I kept expecting the story to get better, there was enough tension for this, but it just didn't.
