Children of the Earth

Very good second book in this series in which one of the main characters has jumped ahead in time a couple hundred years and starts to live with his future people who know the stories about him but do they believe he is who he says he is? While his people in the past mourn his loss and try to carry on without him hoping he will return some day. But there is much more going on beyond Earth that neither the ones in the past or future know about.
