One of the best fantasy series that I have read. Does it surpass GOT? In many ways, it does. The action is relentless, the surprises, many! I was not keen on the way it ended but there are offshoot stories that I will explore.
Two of the best fantasy characters are Glokta and Nine-fingers. I love their storylines and how they approach life (and death). There are also characters to hate (Bayaz, Sult) and characters that are puzzling and you don't know how to feel about (Ferro).
Whatever your opinion of the characters, this series will keep you glued to your seat and hungry for more. It is definitely on my favorites list.
