The Time Traders

Another worthwhile read by Andre Norton. Lots of action, cultural development and detail of the worlds involved.

Unfortunately, like all time travel stories, this one requies a LOT of willfull blindness to he plot holes and paradoxes that are completely passed over. For example, the time travellers go back literally thousands of years trying to find an enemy base in the past, and just happen to land in exactly the right year, the right season, the right location in spite of the many millions of permutations that make it essentially impossible. And this is only one of the temporal challenges glossed over.

That said, the story can be enjoyed for the quality of writing and action, as well as the cultural descriptions and language challenges.
