Ugh. Took me over two years to get through this; obviously I took (long) breaks from reading it but I finally finished it! In the end it turned out to be part love story, part romp around the solar system to solve a mystery and way too much infodump. This book is more like a novelmentary or something like that. He has great ideas but I would prefer not feeling like I am reading an encyclopedia. I just hope the other novels of his I have that I haven't read are not so dense.
