Holy *(#%@!^ cliffhangar batman! This is a captivating tale of unknown and unexplained mysteries on an isolated planet. It's basically just an anthology of stories related to said planet. There were so many interesting concepts introduced and topics to explore, but all were vacated and left behind once a new story was started.
Ancient planets with mysterious subterranean labrinths, bizarre symbiotic creatures, wormholes, AI, fantasy monsters, time distortions, space wars, apocalypse religions... this book has it all. I just hope one of the sequels actually explains something.
