What a fun read! The language was a joy: the names of the various Faces just made me laugh and laugh. "Dewdrops Regarded in a Spirit of Hope", , "The Pupil Waits in Eagerness of Instruction," and my favorite, "Delicate Appeal of the Shell-Less Fledgling". The plot was intriguing but not overly overcomplicated, my latest pet peeve. The ending was - wow, unexpected!
